Sept 2011: OMAHA - Britany Fleck

The Justin Boots Championships is a very important three-day stretch for Britany Fleck, a 28-year-old cowgirl from Mandan, N.D. and her Oxy-Powered horse Dasher Dude! Heading into the River City Rodeo, Fleck was No.16 in the Pro Rodeo standings, one spot out of qualifying for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo for the first time in her four-year career. Sydni Blanchard wins Calgary Stampede Rodeo 100K!

Sydni Blanchard races her horse to win the barrel racing championships during the Calgary Stampede rodeo finals in Calgary, Alberta, July 17, 2011. She and nine-year-old Shotgun had the fastest time for four straight days, she racked up $22,000 extra in spending money and qualified for the $100K Sunday finale. Blanchard, from Albuquerque, NM, made it a clean sweep at the Calgary Stampede. Not only did she and her horse win all four rounds en route to championship Sunday, but clocked a 17.21-second run in the final to add the $100,000 first-place prize to the $22,000 she won earlier in the week.
